I agree. The magnitude of a Scare Event has to be a great finale, threatening our existence, great enough to mess with our hope and to effectively convert to the Great Awakening nearly all evil ones, but for the estimated small percentage of the “Lost forever” fraction-faction.
I’m also fascinated that the whole Awakening concept “coincidentally” fits right along side even “higher” purposes, of the arguably different Christian beliefs that are in play.
“Not all will make it to the end.” — Q
So, Protestants would contemplate End times, Left behind and Rapture. Those who abandoned God are lost.
Others would contemplate the “Great Chastisement”, which strikes death on two-thirds of the world population, both the Evil and Good, but also purifies the earth and for a time, (a long time) brings to the survivors complete and world wide unity, under God in the Blessed Trinity.
I throw these perspectives out there only to declare the magnitude of a scare event, in any case, but with respect to the Christian perspectives on similarities with the Great Awakening, concerning Losses.
The mysteries of these seen and unseen battles force some thought among Christians, of all stripes and good conscience, with the fascinating similarities of the battle on the ground (Q+) against the Prince of the Air, and the battle in the Heavenlies against the same.
Seems all brings us back to the sure Magnitude of a Scare event, whether at the street level or the Heavenlies, or of course, both.
“Not all make it to the end.”
I sure want to prepare in ways beyond stocking up on tp. Thank God Lent is upon us.
Another interesting delta? Lent & March events?
“TIMING is everything.”
I think this year, it better be not only 40 days of the dietary practice & but also more than simply going without chocolate, especially for me! Yikes. 😳

Pardon my picking at nits, but Q’s exact phrase was “The end won’t be for everyone.” Maybe that’s not materially different than “Not all will make it to the end.”
I’ve always thought of a “scare event” as something that will scare us, maybe even scare us a lot, but not something that actually maims or kills us. I realize we’re talking about the degree of terror here, but I’m having some trouble with the idea that a large portion of the population will perish under a scare event. Isn’t that the definition of a pyrrhic victory?
I’m 100% on board with your idea that this is a battle of Good vs Evil.
