This video might give you an idea why the Canada flipped out over this. The Truckers have far more power then most people understand. For the simple fact our society is mostly Urban today a civil war conducted against one or two Urban cities would cripple any western country.
The Truckers did block one major Bridge that I’m aware of. Which is the only thing they did illegal that I’m aware. The police blocked the other ways in (I believe intentionally for the Emergency act.)
I believe John Mark is correct on this for the most part. He definitely hit a nerve with intelligence agencies.

John Mark had interesting points he should've left it at that. He had a meeting and some antifa/FBI(likely) shown up with weapons his speaker literally peed his pants.
After that I never heard from him again.
