No, Russia knows it’s not going to completely dissolve NATO. But what it wants to do is get NATO to remove all defensive weapons systems from the former Warsaw Pact countries that are now in NATO; then it will demand that those former Warsaw Pact countries are dropped from NATO.
Gee, if we could get that done, maybe we could move on to disband the UN and free up a lot of parking spaces for New Yorkers.
