Yesterday I had no luck. The confirming email took to long to arrive and my sign up expired. I tried again and got error messages.
This morning I was able to sign on register on my iPhone and get a user name with the @name format.
I was told I’m #404,704 on the waiting list!
Shortly afterward I got a confirmation email that I’m #320,474 no the waiting list.
That was at 10 am. No updates since then (It’s now 11:06 am)
You can’t sign up yet from a computer — as the app in the Apple App Store is only available for phones.
The 405 error is when you try to sign up using a browser on a computer — at least that’s my experience.
I’ll post it again
“Full roll out is next month, they are still in the beta testing phase”
Too many people (including thousands of liberal trolls) all trying to set up accounts at the same time. Wait a week or so and you should have no trouble.
What you described is incompetence
I’ve been trying to sign up since Sunday, and I keep getting 405 errors.
Me, too. At least now I know it’s not my tablet having problems.
Bookmarking your post. I used to be a systems admin.
Temporarily nulling the SEO BOT access would stop 90% of that until things settle down a bit. But for some reason it is a false unwritten rule that you cannot operate a site at all without all the SEO ware running or allowing hidden BOT access serving up metadata.
I have never used SEO ware and always turn off all BOT access and still get to the top of the search engine results in a few weeks. A site this popular could turn it all off forever and still always be at the top of the search results. Spiders and crawlers share with each other.
Yep, someone is milking this project or like you say incompetent.
“When launching a brand such as this, launch your betas regionally, so as to catch the bugs early, before they go viral. Not to mention reduce the initial loads (assuming you have already successfully completed load testing)”
And it is excellent advice too... Absolutely. :)
I was reading some of the fine print from Truth Social (privacy policy section).
It seems that they are requiring registrants to upload a photograph. Or did I make a mistake and type in “irs.gov” instead of “truthsocial.com”?
Has anyone encountered this?
Im in and posting, no pic requirement
OK, thanks!
