We cut the cable cord several years ago. I honestly don't miss it at all. I get to read a lot more books and there really is a lot of free content to get if you have a Roku hooked up to your TV.

There is also an amazing amount of content to get on YouTube, Rumble and other internet sites.

I've been getting into "film noir" movies from the 1940s and 1950s. As well as documentaries that are all over the internet.

You will not miss cable at all. I guarantee it.

That’s true. There’s so much available streaming free on Roku. We did subscribe to Fubo which isn’t free, but it’s about 1/4 of what we paid for DirecTV.

With our T-Mobile cellular we get free Netflix. We had cancelled it a few years ago when Netflix hooked up with the Obama critters.

This week I started to watch a movie on Netflix, but turned it off when a character in a newsroom announced he was tired of reporting on Melania (as if the media EVER reported on Melania!) Then another person piped up and sadly said, “I miss the Obamas.” Barf!

I went to Netflix chat and complained. Now I expect I’m on a list somewhere.

Project Gutenberg has a lot of free ebooks.
