Restaurant Brands International = Toronto, Canada.
I’m done with that brand.

A bunch of years ago BK had a sandwich called big fish the works. It was a large fish patty on a whopper style bun. Just like a whopper except it had the fish patty instead of a beef patty. Best BK sandwich I ever had. They discontinued it. I have tried on occasion to eat BK food. Disappointed every time. Too expensive and sadly lousy. Just not worth the bother. The chicken sandwich at Popeyes is Ok. Just don’t get the spicy.

The parent company used to be Pepsiso.
No. Pepsico had owned the much smaller Hot and chain. Pepsi owned the brands that are now part of YUM (e.g. Pizza Hut, Taco Bell)

The fish sandwich sounds like their long departed Whaler. I gave up BK after the came out with a Pride Whopper.

Not in Canada. It used to be part of the whopper.

Seems no matter how high the prices go for fast food there is a long line at the drive up most of the time. Doesn’t seem to be a problem.

There are long lines because fewer employees are working. Wait times are way up

If I’m going to have to pay more for beef, you can bet your sweet ass that it will be beef I buy myself, and can make the size burger I want to eat, not the crap these fast-food places throw at you. We have three chain burger joints here: McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s, and I don’t go to any of them. I can make a better burger for myself at home, and I don’t have to waste gas sitting in a drive-thru, told to move up while I wait for my food to be prepared, or deal with someone f*cking up my order.

"King Crab legs were $55.00 a pound yesterday at Publix..." Last month I complained about the price increase at a restaurant that I've been going to for years for their vegetable plate.
The check out girl said then be sure not to order the crab claws, "they'e $50.00 a pound now."

“I bought a few Whoppers over the last 12 months [Conveniently located next to a gas station that sells alcohol free gas].
Never realized that they were on a discount menu.”

USPS leaves those flyers that MOST people discard. BK always has the $5 Whooper, Fries and Drink COUPON on there. I have TONS because I do use them. For the past 6 months, it’s ALWAYS inlcuded in those flyers.
One of their coupons was 2 Bacon Cheeseburgers, fries and drinks for $4. Yeah, I used it more than a few times.
