Many years ago one of the NRA magazines had on its cover a picture of a SWAT decked out police officer. The point of the picture was these are the good guys. I wrote to them and said that that is the exact person I would think would one day be confiscating guns.
Reminds me of that famous picture of the decked out cop pointing a gun at Elian Gonzales.
