Gee this will be nice as our cabin in northern Minnesota will now be as warm as Florida. However, the recent temperatures at our cabin have been in double digits below zero with -40 wind chill. Needless to say we aren’t hanging out at the cabin until likely May provided the ice is off the lake.

One of the reasons Alaska is a great place to live is that the climate absolutely sucks. It’s the worst. When it’s not cold, it’s really cold, and when it’s not really cold, mosquitoes. All of this plus wind, dust, frost in August, sleep-depriving continuous light in the summer followed six months later by 5 minutes of depression-inducing weak sunshine crawling across the southern horizon, and gnats, prevent this place from turning in Los Angeles. Did I mention that time during the Fourth of July softball tournament that it snowed?
No one up here wants the “benefits” of a better climate.
I would move to the equator before moving to a northern blue libtard city for fake climate change 🤪
