Defending Tolkien! Amazon’s the Rings of Power Trailer is a DISTRACTION
That is the first I have seen of the Amazon Tolkien production. At a glance it seems a bit adrift from the 'Lost Tales'. Some visual elements appear foreign to Tolkien.
Unhappily, it is a 'distraction' for me as I have serious spinal surgery Thursday and will not likely see any visual media for some weeks. 😢
