Yes, they were doing shots of liqueurs. I also saw them shoot banana liqueur and amaretto. Yiyiyi. Those boys are looking for a different kind of trouble doing that. As a 20-something, we all did crazy things like that though, sometimes with a theme. I remember a few occasions where the theme was “colours”. Every shot had to be a different colour and we all paid dearly for it the next day. The smart ones made sure to throw up before going to bed to get rid of most of the alcohol and prevent the “spinnies”.
