Watching a Marine yesterday (sorry no link/name). The best way to protect from microwave weapons in a crowd is aluminum foil. Wrap an umbrella top with foil. Wear your ‘tinfoil’ hat. Unlike sound weapons where the waves move out and dissipate in an arc, the energy in a microwave weapon moves in a tight stream.
