And Texas has a gold depository I don't think it would matter if there was a depository. These bucks have actual gold in them.
Looks like a gold buck will have about a 15th of a gram.

I also wonder how the exchange rate will be determined. Will each POS be connected to an exchange so you will be charged the correct amount at the register? Or will the rate be set each morning.
