Uggghhh! So what happened to the ‘debate’???
There were several days of debate and the Bloc and Conservatives made every excellent point that could be made. I watched most of them as they were all televised. The Liberal Party Whip made sure everyone in the NDP and Liberal parties voted according to Castreau’s wishes, and the debates didn’t move anyone, or didn’t move them enough. Think Democrats - they always vote as a solid unit with no defections.
