There is one exception to the rule that the third and final (direct) transit is the most important. For Mercury, it's the first direct transit, not the third, that is the most important.

Yes, and for me, with Mercury in 3 major placements in my chart, I start feeling the effects of a Mercury Rx about 2 weeks before the Rx begins. So I always make sure any car tuneups are done a month prior and backup all files on my computer.
