On 4 July 1776, Pluto was at 27 Capricorn 34. It hits that today for the first time.
It will hit that point in retrograde on 11 July and hit it for the final time direct on 30 December. The final contact is the most important.

Could you explain what “27 Capricorn 34” means? And why the final contact is most important? I really would like to know. Also what is the significance of it being rertrgrade. I’m sort of familiar with that term (”appears to be going backwards”?) but don’t know application.

Astrology is geocentric. Planets -- not "lights," which are the Sun and Moon -- appear to go backwards in the sky at some point, which is called retrogration.

"27 Capricorn 34" means 27 degrees and 34 minutes of Capricorn. It's the point in the sky that marks the position of Pluto on the 4th of July 1776.

Pluto hits that point in the sky three times: one direct, one retrograde, and then one direct again. It's the final direct transit to that point in the sky that marks the most important transit.

Retrograde means the planet appears to slow or move backwards from our viewpoint on Earth, sort of how a car passing another slower car in another lanes makes it appear that the slower car is going backwards. (Or a runner on the inside lane on a track can shotgun past the runner on the outside lane.) it is said that the effects of a retrograde can cause delays, turmoil or stagnation in the areas said planet rules. So we get Mercury Retrogrades about 3 times a year and Mercury rules communication and technology…so anticipate problems with tech, emails, computers on the fritz, car problems, etc.

With Pluto ruling transformation, secrets, Revolution, many astrologers are saying that mass secrets will be revealed during this time that will affect the global citizenry. (A “Great Awakening,” in other words.)
