Zachariah Sitchen’s book “When Giants Were Upon the Earth.”


I had that book when I was in my 20s! (Maybe it’s still in a box somewhere.) I wasn’t yet a Christian, but after I became one a few years later, my very conservative and biblically literate Christian friends pooh-poohed it and called it conspiracy theories. How times change...

That’s curious right there. Except for discussing archeological digs in recent times most of Zach’s work not only precedes Christianity but precedes the whole Hebrew nation as well. He takes nothing away from the Christian faithful but rather expands on many things that are incompletely explained in the old testament. I would dearly love to talk to some of your “biblically literate” friends. Way back in Sunday school one of my favorite questions, never answered, was how many kinds of “Arc” are there?
