What time is your surgery, Bob?
As usual my inclination to being an insensitive boob is pushing forward -- insensitive to the congregation of great people, friends and family, on this thread for their love, caring and support!
My son, an RN and lives with me, had this same procedure about 10 months ago. He is coaching me on what to do to prepare, what to expect, and how long I can expect to fail at tying my shoes. :^0 I helped him get out of bed, get whatever he needed and encouraged him - drove him wherever he needed to go. I know he is fully prepared to similarly fill in the gap. He does, of course, warn me that at my age recovery will likely take longer.
He advises that, while I have this tablet to access the internet, I should, for a while, try to limit myself to reading (books) which I am woefully behind on at any rate. He has posted on this thread (Q-manRN) but spends most of his time on social media. Used to be, whenever he posted here, FReeQers would ask if he is 'Q'... so....
