“Do you own stock in Con Edison PG&E??” After my wife retired, she got tired of me nagging her about leaving the lights on. So we exchanged bill paying, and she came on board to pay the Christmas and Jan PGE bills. After 6 months, she want to reverse the bill paying. I said nope, now you will get to pay for 24 hour AC bills which are not often needed in N. California with some sky lights that open and window screens. After the first AC bill over $400, she learned to use Mother Nature to cool the house and when to shut it down to keep the cool inside. I came back on board paying bills after the now lower than the previous year Christmas/New Years bills.
