They were both great in my opinion.

Interesting. Stevie is here apparently trying to tell Lindsey what she really is or has become...

Maybe laying it on thick to try to get rid of him / disillusion him.

I recall an interview of him a few years ago. He didn’t come out and say it directly, but, he still loves her.

Stevie really was a very good artist before the drugs wrecked her, and she started putting out pap like “Belladonna”, and her contributions on “Tango In The Night” (where Lindsey was occasionally great, IMO, and Christine McVie did her usual good job.)

I have come to value Christine‘s voice over Nick’s, Christine has a very pure, polished sound. I have been listening to Nicks since her 1st album, Buckingham & Nicks, her song writing skills have always been great.

That was a rehearsal for Tusk. Under appreciated album.

Another vote for Christie and also Ann Wilson. Stevie when she stays with songs she can actually sing is good, when she tries to push the envelope—nope.

My daughter despises Stevie Nicks singing anything and has called her a bleating sheep at times. If you want to run my girl out of a room throw on some Stevie and she gone.

For me, they are one of the best and that includes all members of the band. I’ve seen them perform 3 times, in fact had front row sets for their 7/26/1978 Rumours tour at SPAC. I swear that Joe Walsh opened for them. However I cannot find any reference to that on the web.

I recall that he could barely stand up. Apparently a few years later he and Stevie were love interests.

Stevie sings two notes in Dreams that continue to give me a thrill down my spine, over 40 years later. Two chords for the whole song, basically.

Saw FM in the mid 90s at the Garden State Arts Center, the last of four oldies acts. Dave Mason was with them. They were terrible. Fleetwood or McVie asked the audience to stand up. We did, and headed for the exit, along with half the audience.
