“since the days of Edward Bernays and Freud, as the most powerful way of controlling action in the real world. Because if you cannot perceive of there being a valid way of doing things other than what you’re told is the right way, then that’s obviously the supreme power that you can have.”

From your link.

Bernays was Freud’s nephew. His essay, “The Engineering of Consent.” These people have been doing just that. Controlling minds.

But times are changing.

The Century of the Self

I highly recommend the 4 part documentary, "The Century of the Self" about bernays and his legacy that haunts us to this day.

Along the lines of control, see this Fox news article about masking kids, especially kids with disabilities:

https://www.foxnews.com/lifestyle/nj-3-year-old-speech-therapy-mask-mandate-moral-crime

Lady pushed back on the speech therapist, but it took a lot of doing.

Think of all the hearing disabled kids that will be and have been harmed by this.

I’ve got a dog in this hunt, I learned lip-reading before I began grade school, and to see little kids be mistreated by the mask mandates makes me want to go all wild Highlander on those sorry miscreants that mandated this cr@p.
