Here is what I think is odd. People usually tend to hang out with other similar to them. But on the liberal websites tons of people they know are dying constantly and nearly each and every time they say they were an anti-vaxer or trumper etc.... while here.. a place with conservatives who should in IRL be friends mostly with other conservatives in IRL I hardly ever hear anyone lamenting all the conservative friends that are dying or sick in IRL.
There seems to be a disconnect. Why would liberals know so many conservatives that are dying of covid compared to us? I don’t know a single person personally who has died of Covid or even gotten seriously ill.
I’ve heard of people recently that died. I think Delta was pretty bad.
I wasn’t friends with any of them, but I met them.
One was an Aggie in my alumni group, a nice guy with young kids, and the others were the husband and brother-in-law of one of the women in my church life group.
I have one old co-worker who is dealing with bad long haul symptoms.
