How did they get it?
I was visiting with my sister-in-law for an hour without masks indoors the day before she tested positive, and I didn’t get it.
I suspect that the vax weakened their immune systems. I also think isolation didn’t help either. You need to be exposed to stuff to keep your immune system functional.
