Shut down the Ambassador Bridge crossing and the Blue Water Bridge between Port Huron and Sarnia and you squeeze off a huge percentage of trade between the two countries. These are strategic crossings indeed. There is still the tunnel crossing but that is for cars only I believe. Been a long time since I used the tunnel. It connects the downtown areas of Detroit and Windsor.
