Indeed, she was. A great person, our Greeneyes.
Last year, when we had our little meet-up near Mt Rushmore, I offered to drive her and/or her and her husband out there, since I was driving across Missouri to get there anyway. She declined - She and her hubby prefer a more secluded lifestyle, and I understand.
Would have certainly enjoyed their company, but I didn’t press the issue. I just didn’t want them to not have the opportunity to go if they desired.
I miss her too, as do many people on FR and elsewhere. Her obit was very well written, and to me, accurate.
