My husband’s radio antenna is on a Rohn (sp?) tower and does great but no way he’d let me put a TV antenna on it. It’s one of those that has a metal base plate anchored in four feet of concrete, cranks down, and will lay down in the yard to work on. I hate that thing.

Maybe approach it differently. Offer to lease antenna space for your antenna. I’m sure you can think up a fun rate. And if you got some use from it too, you might not hate it any more, a benefit to DH.
That TV antenna will not interfere with the ham stuff at all and wouldn’t have to be way up at the top. Sounds like a fun project. Good luck.

Do listen to Spitzensparkin1 - there’s a lot of knowledge and experience there. I can barely get my rabbit ears set up for channel 39 (and perhaps I need an outdoor antenna for just my TV)!
Seriously, SS1 has a much better handle on this than I. Although I know enough to know that I envy your tower. :)
