What a sweet, clean, picturesque town… with many patriots.

The more I think about it the more amazed I am that such a place even exists in the 21st century.

We found it quite by accident when we were looking for a place to spend the winter in September 2012. Just one winter in Alaska to say we had done it then South to saner latitudes. Somehow we never got tired of cruising Southeast Alaska during the Summer months and holing up in Petersburg's North Harbor from October to May.

Now it's our tenth winter here. We didn't even leave port last Summer. In March of '21 PR bought the building she worked in and took over the business. (Still looking for a DVM, btw)

Talk about throwing out the anchor! Yeah. We love it here.
