I closed my paypal account because they were discriminating on the basis of politics/ideology. I wonder if gofundme was threatened by big law firms and/or government agencies. Sounds like at least the latter:

Oh, I’m certain you’re right. Trudeau’s government accusing the convoy of violence and racism likely was at least in part designed to provide GoFundMe a handy excuse to cancel the truckers.
