Wallace is old enough to have been taught some history in school. Commies purge, it’s what they do. And when you’re caught on the wrong end of a purge, it sucks.
Wallace is just lucky the world hasn’t gone all the way down to his utopia, or the consequences of a purge would have been much worse.
