Yeah, these threads cause me to re-live all the wonderful dogs I've had my entire life. They ARE family and such a blessing too.

Every time a fellow Freeper loses their beloved canine companion, I quietly grieve with them. I know that feeling, and despite having dogs with me my entire life (except these past four years) it never gets easier losing them.

I've taken to befriending all the neighborhood dogs since losing Teddy and dog sitting when a neighbor goes on vacation. I have so many wonderful canine friends now. It's my "therapy" and keeps me sane. (Well, less insane than I'd otherwise be.)
