Well, your primary choices are Microsoft, Apple, or Linux based. Microsoft in my view is the least desirable, and Linux would have the steepest learning curve (but very good). I mentioned an iPad because I’ve noticed your constant struggle and aversion to the newer Windows releases. The iPad simply works, is very portable and easy to use. There are also Android based tablets you might consider.
