The one thing that concerns me personally about all this trucker stuff is the price of plywood. I’m planning to sheath my mobile home in the Spring followed by cedar log cabin siding. I’m not worried about the price of the cedar, it’s sourced in the U.S. I’m worried about the plywood, which is often sourced out of Canada.

DH does lots of building/repair projects. He’s seen the price of plywood absolutely skyrocket in the last year. Way more than double, quadruple maybe. And not good quality. This last year he cut a lot of fir and had them milled by a guy with a portable mill, and it’s cheaper for him to use that than buy plywood.
