Hahaha! That looks like me with all my layers. I can go from trim to blimp with 4 layers and a loose coat. Another secret to staying warm is breathability. If you’re bundled too tightly, you lose all the warm air that would normally be between each layer. We call it the invisible layer and it’s the most important layer of all.
Agree about the “air layer” however thats why I cant abide them Longjohns / thermal unders either...make ya sweat!
