which brings me to my point.....we need to encourage new people to FR....our old lines are dying off....we need to sustain the movement....

It’s a good idea. I invited 3 new lurkers on the thread because the posters here were following the convoy news so well that up-to-the-minute reports were appearing here first. They loved that, even though there was much else they didn’t understand, having no background in most things Q.
Then one of them read that some posters wanted a separate convoy thread and they were too inexperienced to find it. I’m not sure it was ever started. I built the thread up to be one filled with freedom fighters and a lack of censorship and one of them said they weren’t so sure about that when it looked like some didn’t want the convoy news reported here. Two of the lurkers left.
One remained and then read a request there be no posts because of the death of greeneyes. I missed that post and have been so busy shoveling another 15” of snow that I haven’t verified he was right about that. I tried to get them back once I confirmed convoy news would still be reported and that people were still posting after the news of greeneyes death. They’re no longer interested because their unfortunate timing in reading those two requests made them think there are limitations on topics/speech here and that I oversold it. (*sigh*)
Which brings me to my point - it’s a tough thread to jump into the middle of but we do occasionally have newcomers. Maybe I could have directed them to the open forum instead of inviting them here and we’d have had a better chance of keeping them on FR.
Usually people know right away if this site is a place they want to commit to and will work their way through the confusion. It's not for everyone.

My opinion only. Those new to either FR or the Q thread, will stay or go according to what they see while lurking.
When Q first appeared, I lurked before diving in, same with FR as a whole. Some folks need privacy…not prodding to join in.
FR will survive …or not. No need to go all cheerleader.
I admire your “go get ‘em” attitude though, this is not a criticism of you LL
