The White House is taking extraordinary efforts to keep President Joe Biden from contracting COVID-19. At Monday’s event with the nation’s governors, only Biden was given water lest anyone else remove their mask to take a drink . The president was seated more than 10 feet away from everyone, including the Vice President and members of his Cabinet .
Or is it so they can’t see the edges of his mask?

When the Republicans lost their majority in the House in 2006, The day after the election, I saw a homemade banner (neon green, btw) over Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights that read “The Left Won—Society Stinks.”
It buoyed me because I knew I wasn’t alone.
