By normal rules proxy vote is not possible. This guy , by all accounts, has a hole in his skull so he’s not directing proxy anything. Senate rules have always required presence to vote. But Schummy is there so who knows what “skullduggery” might happen? Sounds to me like Lujan is pretty much done so a resignation and then a governor appointment might be the skullduggery——but that will take some time in even the best case for senate dims.
