I've met tons. They think Jesus died to save us from our sins (thus they are Christian) and they think government should help the poor (thus they are liberal.) There is nothing incoherent about their thought process. It's just different from yours.

Hmmm...abortion. Promotion of homosexuality. Transgendered. GOVERNMENT to help the poor versus HUMANS. Indeed, liberals are largely DEFINED by worship of government. Terror of COVID - and belief government will save us.
