ALL of the ‘60s / ‘70s leftist “rebel” “radikal” rockers were all the same; they preached rebellion and anti authority, and calling for kids to rebel against their parents. But in the end, they wanted everybody to be a ward of THE STATE, and OBEY THE STATE.
ALL is a pretty wide brush. There were many songs in that time that absolutely nothing to do with politics, and were a lot of fun to sing or listen to.
