They are so invested in their false narrative when reality constantly hits they have to come up with one more wild conspiracy after another to try to keep it afloat.
This behavior used to be predominantly found on the Left - but now many on the right are starting to perfect the same craft.

Indeed it was more exclusive on the Left.
But I believe it’s a human flaw. Anyone can get caught up.
Truly some huge Psychological lessons have been learned from this pandemic.
I suspect it’ll be studied for years.
