I have long thought that this mass testing gives very misleading if not false results. The tests are being conducted in makeshift settings like tents in parking lots and then are being processed by the thousands in some unknown factory “labs”. Who is running these “labs”? Are there any quality controls? Is there some financial incentives for reporting numbers not actual real test results? The tests themselves are certainly not 100% accurate and the potential for slipshod if not fraudulent reporting of results make these COVID positive numbers highly suspect.
For some of the labs the answer appears to be no. And for some of the labs there may never have been any testing at all for a lot of the samples they took. Or they tested samples that had sat at room temperature for a week and were therefore meaningless.
Unfortunately as soon as the government is handing out cash there are people unscrupulous enough to design a scheme to take the money for their own purposes.
—”Are there any quality controls?”
Not likely to be a three-sigma operation.
But they did collect the user information.
