He won’t leave. He was a big enough fool to come there in the first place. He will stay. And cry, squall, and bitch. Never realizing or caring he has been voting for this shit through the years.
Some people have specific things anchoring them to an area (family, school, work, etc.) and once that thing is no longer holding them, they are GONE. It is happening here in NJ; whereas many Americans moved out of Jersey after retiring, now many are leaving when the last child graduates high school. Young adults who attend college in other states often never return, so the parents don’t have them keeping them here.
The flight of capital can’t be ignored; don’t assume this guy won’t leave. It may be something as simple as a lease agreement keeping him there temporarily.
