Part coyote, part dog, and part leopard. That is a weird looking animal.

It’s know to be a dog or coyote, but everyone is “baffled” by the “mysterious” creature. Great F-ing sensationalism by those stupid UK papers. I’m surprised they didn’t tell us about it’s fashion sense.

a dog with mange=- likely- or a coyote with mange- but likely a dog as it was not real scared of people- not very baffling-

The leopard blanket is spotting my vision. I can barely see the slate grey animal to the right.
I would not have just brought some unknown critter into my home, but perhaps when you live near an open wilderness, you get used to seeing the uncommon.

Maybe she could spot signs of aggression when they are displayed. Probably somebody’s pet who knows what a ‘home’ for humans is; a place of safety.

Based on the spots, I’m going with leopard.

Looks like a coy-dog - - half coyote, half domestic dog. We have them here which is why we keep all of our 32 cats inside. Coy-dogs are out during the daytime as well as night and they aren’t as timid as coyotes. We lost a few cats and decided enough is enough.

Farmers here with livestock hate them with a passion.

There’s a wasting disease that’s taken out a lot of them the past few years and that one looks like it has it.

Based on the appearance of mange and evidence of attempt at changing its spots, I’m guessing it’s a Democrat.

Severe mange after some slimeball abandoned him in the country. A wild animal would not so near a human house like this.

We see a lot of mangy malnourished dogs that look like that abandoned here in the Philippines. But because of the risk of rabies there isn't much you can do for them.

A dog with a bad case of mange can look like just about anything.
Same goes for a coyote.
A young sick coyote is likely to be as docile as a dog.
The photo at the link — looks like a coyote.
We’re having a cold winter in PA.
At least it didn’t fall off a truck...
