I bought an acer about 10 years ago, and then another about 2 years ago after my daughter spilled a drink on the keyboard. Acer is made in Taiwan not PRC so that was a big plus. Unfortunately the monitor I bought from them is CCP made.

They also make it easy on the newer Chromebooks to run Linux. One of the great bargains in the world of technology.

I bought one for the grandkids to use when visiting, it has a waterproof keyboard, Also known to be ice tea proof and milk proof.

And no matter what the grandkids managed to get into a few keyclicks a Chromebook POWERWASH and good to go.

Now my wife uses it as her primary device.
