After driving American cars most of my life, my first Toyota was an eye opener.
I’m still driving it 16 years later. I can’t understand why I haven’t had to replace the alternator, starter, belts, water pump, ball joints, etc. two or three times like with American made cars. I thought they were SUPPOSED to go out every 50,000 miles or so. Hell, it’s still running on the original spark plugs. Are they made out of titanium? I don’t get it...
Wife, son, daughter, and son in law all driving Toyotas now.
Screw you Detroit!
