Well this is interesting. The UK ONS responded to an information request with the following data, that are, roughtly, a couple orders of magnitude smaller than we might have been lead to believe.

The MSM have of course ignored this, but curious that the alternative media haven't discussed this at all.

What's interesting is that here are some hard statistics that show clearly that the Wuhan flu can certainly be deadly to a subset of the population, but everyone else should worry more about the seasonal flu and RSV than the 'rona.

2020: 9400 (0-64: 1549 / 65 and over: 7851)

2021 Q1: 6483 (0-64: 1560/ 65 and over: 4923)

2021 Q2: 346 (0-64: 153/ 65 and over: 193)

2021 Q3: 1142 (0-64: 512/ 65 and over: 630)

Starting with the current death toll for the UK (153,787), I did some rough calculations to back out deaths since the 3rd quarter of 2020 and deaths occurring in Scotland (which was apparently not part of the given data). It came out to about 13-15% of the total Covid deaths being due to Covid alone.

I wonder if there will ever be an authentic accounting, what with so many people and institutions vested so heavily.

Counting covid deaths is like counting votes.

" The UK ONS responded to an information request "

I have never read of the CDC doing so to a private person. However, from the CDC: As of 12–05-21, for over 5% of reported COVID-19 deaths, that virus was the only cause mentioned on the death certificate, and “for deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 4.0 additional conditions or causes per death.” While this does not necessarily mean the virus was not the leading contributor in the other 94% of the deaths, and it certainly does not mean it was the leading contributor in all the other 94% of these deaths.

More data, by the grace of God.

-— “The MSM have of course ignored this, but curious that the alternative media haven't discussed this at all.”

From the Drosten RT-PCR test based on Chinese data in January of 2020 — now called “faulty” by the CDC/FDA — to the WHO declaration using altered definitions two months later and their April 2020 directive for how to enhance death certificates to make deaths into Covid deaths, and the massive anomalies in all the “official” reports. the media-driven frenzy has been a fraudulent construction.

Else, as this month ---

Johns Hopkins University's "official" data -- ( 5,547,903 "global deaths" / 7,921,131,915 global population ) x 100 = 0.070% of the global population.

Worldometer's "official" data -- ( 5,583,850 "global deaths" / 7,921,131,915 global population ) x 100 = 0.070% of the global population.

While data of deaths caused by covid is important to report, I am MUCH more interested in data of deaths caused by being VACCINATED against covid. If a one- or two-page summary of deaths due to the vaccinations was available and routinely updated, I would use such report as defending evidence if my employer - or state - were to mandate my being vaccinated. I don’t know if the VAERS report is sufficiently legitimate and updated, or if there are other, brief summaries available.

The reports I am interested in are simple summaries - including references, in case I want to read them for myself - not pages of plots and raw numbers. I have the option to review the reference and judge if its reporting seems logical. Granted, any summary is likely to include false data - deliberately or not, such as covid patients dead due to having other underlying conditions and reporting deaths solely due to covid. But if the report summarizes data from many different sources, I feel it would be a step in the right direction. I haven’t seen such reports yet.
