In Japanese , for example , if one were thirty one would answer 三十歳 : pronounced son ( ON as in on / off ) jew , sigh . As a joke I answer 10歳 （ten sigh ) . Japanese would answer 十歳( jew sigh ) 。ten sigh means “ genius “ in Japanese ! That always gets a laugh .

I have always been amazed when American blacks finally get to another country like Russia or China or Japan and receive levels of racism beyond ANYTHING they have ever seen. Even France is pretty bad outside of Paris.
America is arguably the least racist country in the world. And nobody else even comes close.
Even in Sierra Leone the black Africans would slam on American blacks as lazy and worthless. There was an unnamed government official who said we could replace all the blacks in America with real Africans and that they would all work like mules for the chance.

I’ve been here a long time and it sure has been very interesting so say the least . My wife is Japanese and I became a grandfather last August . Both our daughter and her husband are high school teachers . I’m a retired .
