The story of Norton being considered for a transportation position is new. The congressman was pointing out the irony by using that 2015 old video. I don’t think he said that it had just happened.

I agree that was the point, she is nominated or under consideration for work that requires a brain, but look how she behaves. (It would have been an even better point if they had dated that photo, if she was that bad 7 years ago, what is she like now!)

However, most everyone on our new thread was thinking it just happened recently.

When the title is “Pelosi’s Top Pick For Chairwoman of the Transportation Committee Repeatedly Crashes Her Car Into Parked Vehicle, Walks Away (VIDEO)” is is taken by most readers to be recent or now.

You can tell from the comments in the thread that it was being taken that way.

I certainly took it as recent at first.

Things like this are often used to paint us Freepers and “right wingers” and “conservatives” as making up “misinformation” — so the call is to not read our information and we are “canceled.”

The Gateway Pundit write misleading articles and excessively brief all the time, articles that inflame but poorly inform; and as a result we end up looking bad, so we appear to have cried wolf, and no one listens after that.

I just wanted to be sure no one else here took it as recent, and to point out how it makes us look bad so hurts our credibility with the undecided.

Thanks
