I replaced my hot water tank a couple of years ago with a similar tank. Gas fired, which is generally less expensive than electric, though not that huge of a difference. Swapping a tank for a tank was easier than going with tankless. Lifting it onto the stand was the hardest part, and there were 2 of us so it wasn’t a big deal.
Access for me was easy - it’s in the garage which sits under the house.
I didn’t research the tankless too deeply though, to be honest. I’m comfortable with what I have.
