You may have noticed empty shelves in some stores due to national supply chain issues, but there is no need to buy more than you normally would.

Oddly, this is another thing I am seeing in the news but not where I live. Stranger still because periodic shortages are fairly common on this Alaska island, especially in the Winter months when barge and air services are often interrupted by bad weather like the heavy snowfall we have had in Dec and January.

I do my grocery shopping on Tuesdays (Senior discount day). I've noticed no unusual shortages yet. Just as I have seen no local evidence of a deadly plague over the past two years (Other than media induced panic). It all seems to be happening on "TV" but not here in the real world....

...Not in my reality in any case.

No unusual shortages here yet, either. Price increases, yes, definitely. Ironically, paper goods were low at Publix, where they’re expensive, but abundant at the wholesale clubs, where they cost less. (Could have just been the day, though.)
