Great stuff bud. I read a piece on the titanic sinking appeared to be a driveby piece trying to pretend it was a legitimate sinking. Even there they had so many holes in the story you could have jumped through it all.

Seems it was a flat calm night with excellent vision and when the ship did hit the iceberg. Someone in charge didn't stop but went on full bore. You got to wonder what would have happened if it did stop and reversed engines,we may never know.

Cap'm EJ would have known he was driving the Olympic, which needed to be turned into insurance money for the White Star Line to survive financially. Smith knew the plan. The real Titanic would make it through the fray at end, though with the Olympic moniker.

EJ had assurances, including those of his Jesuit Master, Fr. Frank Brown, that the SS Californian would be nearby and able to take all of his survivors.
