1uM is a concentration. The answer should be a concentration (solid amt/volume).

I calculated the concentration to be 232.3 microgram/L, using a molecular weight for melatonin as 232.3 g/mol.

Extrapolating drug doses from bench data can be tricky and are related to the ADME—adsorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion— for starters. Ultimately, pharmacokinetic studies in large animals and humans are needed to determine blood concentrations of a drug after a dose.
